Here's the explanation: We all know that the sum of the digits of a number divisible by 9 IS STILL divisible by 9 (For example, 45, 207, and 63. 4 + 5 = 9, 2 + 0 + 7 = 9, and 6 + 3 = 9). So the answer in #4 would always be 9. Then 9 - 5 = 4, and the letter would be D.
